How to Sell Your Clothing

SELLING 101

Interested in selling your trendy, gently worn clothing and accessories with Runway Fashion Exchange? Listed below are some great tips on how to do just that!

  1. FIND IT AT YOUR HOUSE - Sort through your clothing. Pull out those items that you never wear, or have worn and loved, and are ready to give someone else the chance to do the same with. At Runway Fashion Exchange, we’re all about giving your clothing a second chance!

  2. WASH THEM - Once you’ve selected the items you wish to sell, place them in the wash. We require all clothing items to be freshly laundered before you sell them with us.

  3. BOX THEM - Place your current, trendy, and gently worn items nicely in a bag, box or laundry basket off of hangers. This make sit easier for our certified buyers to process your clothing and keep all your items together.

  4. BRING IT IN! - Now, you’re ready to bring your items into the store to sell. Grab your ID and your bag(s) of clothing and head inside to our buying counter. An associate will assist you in filling out our buy form and give you a time quote for processing your items. While your items are being processed, we encourage your to stay in the store. This gives you the opportunity to see what type of items we accept at Runway and to shop for great “new to you” items.

  5. GET CASH OR CREDIT - Once finished, our buyer will present you with a cash offer AND a store credit offer. The choice is then yours to decide to take the cash or spend some store credit on items you may have found while shopping in the store.

  6. LIKE YOURSELF MORE - After you’ve finished your transaction, any items we may have passed on are yours to take back with you.
